Salisbury Steak Dinner



While fixing lunch, I peeled and quartered potatoes and put them in the crock pot with 1 cup of water, salt and pepper and set it on low.



I also chopped cabbage for cole slaw.



Added 1/2 cup undrained crushed pineapple, a handful of miniature marshmallows and 1/3 cup light salad dressing (Miracle Whip). Stirred it all together and refrigerated until dinner time.

I also sliced mushrooms to add to the gravy later.



I cooked the Salisbury steak I made yesterday on a George Foreman grill for about 10 minutes. While it was cooking, I added 1 cup of beef broth to the remaining cream of mushroom soup along with 1 teaspoon of steak sauce and sliced mushrooms. Spoon over steak and potatoes.

Drain potatoes, add a couple tablespoons of butter and cream cheese if desired. Mash until smooth.
